Calling all former Duke of Ed”ers!! Check this out!!
The year 2006 marks the 50th anniversary of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme. Mr McFarland, our Duke of Ed co-ordinator, is very keen for the occasion to be marked in a special way and is inviting all those who have attained an award, or who have been involved in the running of the scheme in LHS over the years, to get in touch so that a ”get together” can be arranged to celebrate the occasion some time around Easter or May 2006. If you are interested in attending or are able to contact friends and fellow award members from your year (or want to hear more about the proposed Gold Expedition to mainland Europe), then you can contact Mr McFarland through the school or by email on doelhs@aol.com.
