EDUCATION MINISTER’S VISIT

Our school was again front page news and on television when we were visited by Angela Smith, the then Minister with responsibility for Education in Northern Ireland. She was here to highlight our unique links with other schools in the Limavady Learning Partnership.

Her visit commenced in the staffroom where many members of staff commented on her ‘down to earth’ personality and willingness to sit and chat.

She was then taken on a tour of the school. This culminated in seeing the partnership in action with the A level link German class attended by both High and Grammar pupils.

The minister said she was impressed with our links to all the schools in the area as well as the local college. Long may it continue!
