Head Master of the Year

The Royal Air Force Award for Headteacher of the Year in a Secondary School in Northern Ireland goes to our own Mr Reilly.

Mr Reilly is a head who works tirelessly to build up his school and community, making particular efforts to bridge the sectarian and denominational divides that have been such a powerful influence in Northern Ireland for so long.

He brings students together from diverse religious, social and cultural backgrounds, convinced that their experiences in school will affect how they think and behave outside.

He is a lead figure in the Limavady Learning Partnership, a network of five local educational institutions that offers a range of pastoral, curricular, off-site and after-school educational. This partnership is a ground-breaking role model for integrated educational development in Northern Ireland, and looked to by politicians and others as a vision of the future.
