Caring for the Environment!

Last year, our tree in the front foyer became the focus for our recycling initiative, under the care of 8A5. A range of materials were collected for reusing and recycling including clothes for the school show, Yellow pages and loose change for local charities.

We continue to recycle several tonnes of loose waste paper. The paper is collected through the Green Shed Project with the Limavady Community Development Initiative (LCDI). Many thanks to Ian, Marshall and the team of cleaners who collect the paper from the rooms. Last year, the Interact Club organised and promoted the collection of plastic bottles around school for recycling. If everyone continues to do their part, we as a school can reduce our impact on the environment.
