Mission Nutrition

Did you know…

  • 400 million children are hungry around the world
  • Every five seconds another child dies from hunger-related causes
  • One in five children in the UK skips breakfast

It’s a terrible situation, but with Limavady Highs help, we can change things!

This week our staff and pupils are getting involved by raising money for BBCs Blue Peter’s Mission Nutrition, helping needy children in the UK and around the world. We want to get two million meals to hungry children, and help them grow healthy food for themselves! Mission Nutrition wants to help children around the world to eat well and grow their own food. This week you’ll see Year 11  pupils from Child Development classes baking, and selling, ‘muffins’ to help towards the Blue Peter Appeal.
