Samaritan’s Purse Visit

On Monday 11th May 2009 Danny and Vera Kuranji from Serbia dropped into school to tell year eight pupils and GLAD pupils from our school and Saint Mary’s all about the distribution of this year’s gift filled shoeboxes in Montenegro. Over 650 of these boxes coming from our school.

Vera gave a wonderful account of how the boxes are distributed and the importance of the gift. Danny provided a power point showing the boxes arriving and being distributed to happy smiling children who have nothing in life.

We look forward to the 2009 appeal when once again we as a school will take part in this wonderful appeal.
