The GCSE Home Economics practical assessment was held in the last week of November ’09.
This entailed the Year 12 pupils making a complete meal starter, mains and dessert with all accompaniments.
Each of the students were assessed on the tables and outcomes/presentation, this included personal hygiene, food preparation, cooking and serving. All the products these had to be suitable for a vegetarian and included many skills.
