Haiti Appeal – Non Uniform Day
If you’ve been watching the news on Television recently you’ll have noticed a devastating earthquake, measuring 7.3 on the Richter scale, struck Haiti on 12th January 2010, killing hundreds and affecting thousands more. Charities and individuals alike have all come together to assist in providing aid, in any way possible, for those affected.
Here at Limavady High School we’ve decided to organise a NON UNIFORM DAY on Friday 29th January, 2010 to support this cause. On this occasion pupils may attend school in their own clothes for a minimum donation of £2, larger donatoins will be much appreciated. We hope to buy shelter boxes for the people of Haiti with the finance raised.
Donations from pupils will be collected during Period 2 on Friday.
Please help us to support this worthy cause by your generosity.
