Sports Day took place on Wednesday 15th May. Our pupils performed really well in the cold and windy conditions and records were broken. Surf Club starts with a Splash!

Our new Surf Club kicked off on Friday 10th May at Benone Strand. Led by Dan Laverty from Long Line Surf School both our pupils and staff took to the waves and had fun in the summer sunshine. Over the next few weeks the pupils and staff will perfect their skills and prepare for the big surf competition on the last week….

Beach Football

On Saturday 9th March the Regional Finals of the ‘Streets of Cage’ Football competition came to a very wet and windy  Benone Strand. Pupils produce their own radio show

Pupils at Limavady High School travelled to Cool Fm Studio in Newtownards to get a tour around the studio. Pupils soaked up the exciting atmosphere and enjoyed the opportunity to produce their own radio show and create an advert promoting road safety.

Ben Quigg, a year 12 pupil has recently won the First ever NIFFA All Ireland Championship in Archery. The competition was on the 29th December and Ben was entered in the Under 17 Freestyle category. Cyber Bullying Video

Year 12 ICT spent some time in class discussing bullying with an emphasis on cyber bullying.  The class was split into groups where prompt cards were devised to support pupils in school who are being bullied.  The prompt cards were combined with instrumental music to create the short movie clip.
