Sports Day 2013

Sports Day took place on Wednesday 15th May. Our pupils performed really well in the cold and windy conditions and records were broken. We managed to complete nearly all the track and field events with only the relays suffering due to the deteriorating track conditions. These will be completed after exam week. A full breakdown...

Young Entrepreneur Competition

This competition, organised by the Consumer Studies department of the University of Ulster, was based on The Apprentice television programme. It gave pupils a feel for business, entrepreneurship, creativity, time management and working under pressure.

Surf Club starts with a Splash!

Our new Surf Club kicked off on Friday 10th May at Benone Strand. Led by Dan Laverty from Long Line Surf School both our pupils and staff took to the waves and had fun in the summer sunshine. Over the next few weeks the pupils and staff will perfect their skills and prepare for the big surf competition on the last week....

Limavady High School developing GIS

Students at Limavady High School were keen to get their employability skills up to scratch participating in a GIS workshop facilitated by the University of Ulster Coleraine. Year 10 Geography students carried out research on sites across Northern Ireland using up to date GIS technology.
