Medical Information

If there are any matters concerning a child’s health about which a parent feels the school should be informed, the Head of Year should be contacted.

P.E. and Games are a compulsory part of the school curriculum. If, for medical reasons, a child needs to be permanently excused from participation in these activities, a letter, supported by a note from the family doctor, should be sent to the Head of Year. In the case of occasional withdrawal from P.E. or Games (owing to injury or illness) a letter should be sent to the class teacher concerned.

If a child is taken ill or is injured during the school day, parents will be contacted and may be asked to arrange for the child to be taken home.
