Cool Citizens Club
Cool Citizens Club started in October 2010 for Year 8 and 9 pupils. Pupils meet with Mrs. Colette McLaughlin and Mr. Timmins every Wednesday from 3.25 until 4pm to learn more about other people, their lives and the difficulties that communities might face.
We discuss topical issues such as litter, hoax calls and disabilities with the aim of fostering a spirit of tolerance. This complements the themes studied in the Life and Work department, headed by Mr. Allen.
On occasions, we are delighted to welcome guest speakers, visit community projects and link in with events in the Roe Valley area.
