Subject Overview

Year 8 and 9 pupils have one Personal Development period each week during which the school’s core values of respect, integrity, personal responsibility, fairness, teamwork and high expectations are studied. The lessons are designed to allow pupils to discuss and explore the importance of each core value to life, both in and out of school. Pupils are presented with certificates for demonstrating respect, integrity and personal responsibility in school life in Year 8 and fairness, teamwork and high expectations in Year 9.
