Outstanding GCSE Results for Year 12 Pupils at Limavady High School
Limavady High School is delighted to announce the outstanding achievements of our Year 12 pupils in this year’s GCSE examinations. The results reflect the hard work, dedication, perseverance, and resilience that our students have shown throughout their exam years.
We are immensely proud that 94.29% of our pupils achieved five or more GCSE grades at A-C*, significantly surpassing the Northern Ireland average for non-grammar schools. In addition, 69.52% of pupils attained seven or more grades at A*-C, highlighting the strong academic performance achieved across the year group. These outstanding outcomes reflect the dedication, hard work and resilience of our pupils, the unwavering support of their families, and the school's continued commitment to excellence and ongoing improvement.

Principal, Mr Mornin, expressed his pride in the achievements of the Year 12 pupils, stating:
“We are exceptionally proud of this year group and all that they have accomplished. It has been a privilege to watch them develop both academically and personally throughout their time at Limavady High School. Their outstanding results reflect the hard work, determination and resilience they have demonstrated, and I am delighted to celebrate their success today.”
There was a wonderful sense of pride and celebration at Limavady High School as pupils, parents and staff came together to mark these outstanding achievements. The success of our pupils reflects the strong partnership between home and school, with the encouragement and support of parents playing a vital role throughout their educational journey.
We are also deeply grateful to our valued partners, St Mary’s Limavady and North West Regional College, whose collaboration has greatly enhanced our Key Stage 4 curriculum provision. Their support has provided pupils with a broader range of learning opportunities and experiences, helping them to realise their talents and achieve their full potential.
The popularity and growth of Limavady High School continues to soar, with more and more parents choosing our school for their children. This year’s GCSE results are a clear indication of the school's strength and commitment to fostering an environment of academic excellence.
